How to get a PA 40+ inbound link in less than 5 minutes.
Just the other day I discovered a neat way to help give a little ranking boost by getting a nofollow inbound link from Ask.com search results. Here’s how to do it:
Step 1
Go to ask.com and search for a term that you appear for within the top three organic search results.
For example, if the name of your company is amazema and you want to rank for ‘Property Styling Northern Beaches’ then search ask.com for amazema property styling northern beaches and you’ll likely come up.
Step 2
Grab the URL from ask.com and modify it from
Step 3
Create an outbound link from another (hopefully relevant) site that will likely be indexed e.g. a blog or social media profile with a few inbound links of it’s own and wait a few days for Google to crawl the page…..
You’ll soon see the link from ask.com popup in your link profile!
How to use LinkedIn to size a B2C market
Problem: Having a product idea (in our case an app) that you need to get market sizing for with no budget or solid published market numbers.
Why: To ensure you have a viable business and to understand if that business will eventually be attractive to investors.
Solution: LinkedIn!!! (kinda)
I’ve recently revisited some market sizing research from last year that I’ve been itching to blog about since finishing. What i’ll be talking about in this post is really just a techy hack using LinkedIn to size a market… but a very helpful techy hack that could save you a lot of time and money 😉
Google’s Mobile Friendly Rampage
SO it seems Google are now getting very serious about encouraging website owners to make their websites ‘Mobile Friendly’.
It used to be that mobile friendly sites were something that everyone knew they should have but had the choice of overlooking if budget, time or just plain laziness got in the way.
Not anymore… It’s time to bite the bullet because Google has made it clear that in simple terms; sites that suck on mobile won’t get ranked as high on mobile search.

Bitcoin – A Peer-to-Peer Web Currency
Bitcoin (An online currency trading for around $6.00 USD per coin) is the brain child of a man named Satoshi Nakamoto and in my opinion is one of the most exciting and controvercial things on the web right now. Bitcoin has been around a few years now but has only recently started gaining global attention. The recent theft of about $100,000 worth of bitcoins via use of a trojan targeting bitcoin wallets has shown some holes in the new startup currency and it’s freaked it’s supporters however the founders are confident that they will be able to rectify the issue.
